Swedish pop and new all-time-time wired lives

Themes of these songs tell a story of its own...

  1. Chat-Robot named Anna that cleans the channel and actually turns out not to be a bot
  2. Story about some friends being in Ventrilo and playing DotA, a Massive Multiplayer Online Role-playing Game(MMORPG).

Anyway, good dance music, must say. (though, not my favourite genre anyway)

And the other one - tells even more about the Second Life(SL)- and World of Warcraft(WoW)-generations' interests and way of living. Must say - the newbies of business life will see world differently than the oldies. And this will happen in next 10 years.

Olli Hokkanen - the Finnish YouTube phenomena creator

In the time of media 2.0 a lot of absolutely non-predictable thing can break through to become phenomenal success. One of these is the total failure of a 19-year-old Finn from Mikkeli, Olli Hokkanen, trying to drink a 1,5 litre Coca-Cola bottle in as short period as possible. He fails miserably. He commented in TV his failure with words: "Ei pysty, olipa hapokasta"="Cannot do this, too acid".

His lousy performance was posted to YouTube and now he has become an short-term cult figure.

At the moment more that 550 thousand views... and looks 73 remixes or additions on the video. Moreover he gained his own Wikipedia-entry. Moreover, yougsters abound Finland are participating in Olli Hokkanen Open - cola drinking competion. Additionally, Olli's slogan is now available as a song and also as t-shirts.

If this is not 15-min of fame, what is then... and on this one I am absolutely sure that Coca-Cola did not order this kind of marketing campaign for their products. This is really web 2.0, must say!

Why people "YouTube"?

OK, here we go, initial posting here - an explanation why people post vidoes to YouTube.

Purpose of this blog

As part of our experiment in web 2.0, I decided to dedicate this blog to collecting audiovisual content, especially online videos. My target is to learn to understand:
1) How will my behaviour change if I will look at YouTube nearly daily?
2) What kind of videos at the online video universe attract me to bookmark them?
3) What kind of support does Blogger give for publishing av-content, esp. in comparison with Wordpress

Let's see where will this trial evolve into.

Moreover, I would like to give credit to Henri, who gave me this idea through his own video blog.
